Have you tried using a recipe organizer app on your phone? Or are you the person who likes to write them down on index cards, the old-fashion way? I know with the Internet and technology there are TONS of options out there. So today I’m going to tell you how I organize my (still growing) 200+ recipes.

Meet Springpad. I’ve been using it for the past couple of years now, and It’s pretty awesome. The selling point for me is that I can use it on the computer at home, and on my phone on-the-go.

When I’m browsing online at home, I can simply save a recipe to my Springpad account on the web. (For better organization, try to remember tagging each recipe before saving.)

I can also use the Springpad app on my phone whenever I’m commuting or away from my computer. When I’m OFFLINE, I can still browse and manage all my recipes. Think about the next time you’re at the store and need to look up a recipe you saved a month ago. Now, all your recipes are in your hand (That’s if you remember to bring your phone). Get the FREE app on iTunes or Google Play.

The fact is, Springpad is not only for recipes. It’s a personal organizer that helps you remember stuff like a link, a book, or a specific kind of wine you saw at the store, a restaurant you want to try, etc… Learn more from the YouTube video below, and sign up for a FREE account on http://springpad.com/.

  • I just learned about this app/website over the last couple weeks and need to sign up–it sounds great. Sort of like a combination of both Pinterest/Evernote? I could definitely use this type of organization, especially for recipes.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
